Process to get your Truck and Trailer weighed

1. Sign up for SmartWeigh using the online Sign-Up form.
   
   • Download the Truck and Trailer form (Download Example Form)
2. Fill in the form using the SmartWeigh Form Instructions.
   • Remember to note your weighing date and time in your calendar.
3. Email the completed form to SmartWeigh at jaynorth.net before your appointment day..
4. Wait for your Date and Time to Weigh.
5. On the day of your truck/tow to be weighed:
   • Please bring only your tow vehicle to the scale with regular passengers and gear, but without the trailer hitched.
   • We must weigh the truck separately to set the base weight and get an accurate trailer tongue weight.
6. At the time of your RV Weigh:
   • Ensure your RV is in the correct configuration for weighing:
     • Normal passenger load
     • Standard load of personal property 
     • Freshwater, as you usually travel
     • Full fuel and propane
     • No gray or black water, as you usually travel
     • Towed vehicle in place
   • To avoid long lines having to wait or causing someone else to wait, please arrive in your appointed time slot.
     
     • Fees for the weigh-in will be collected. The preferred payment is made using a credit card, though cash is accepted.
