Southeast Congress Level 2

Covering approximately 5 miles, the route gradually climbs from about 2,390 feet to nearly 2,940 feet in elevation as it crosses open Sonoran Desert terrain. Drivers can expect a mix of graded dirt roads, sandy sections, shallow washes, and rolling desert hills with wide-open views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

This route is primarily used as a transit corridor rather than a technical off-road challenge. Most of the drive is suitable for stock high-clearance vehicles in dry conditions, although recent weather, erosion, and wash crossings can increase difficulty. During the original route recording, the exit gate automatically opened when leaving the area, but access conditions may change over time.
